Truffle specialties delight gourmets around the globe - a very special selection of fine distilling art - our Trufo line - comes from our Gut Bärenhof in the Bavarian Forest. Special liqueurs are characterized by the perfectly balanced ratio of skilfully combined ingredients. Here we combine the earthy, incomparable taste of truffles with the fruity, tangy acidity of local raspberries. This aromatic raspberry truffle liqueur was created by the WILHELM MARX distillery as a tribute to the diversity and contrasts of both precious forest fruits.
We use fine 40% raspberry pulp as the basis. After distilling, the fruit pulp with the black summer truffle is macerated for twelve weeks and is not filtered further. This creates the intense, typically naturally cloudy coloring of the truffle liqueur. We like to recommend our specialty as a digestif with pastries and chocolates. A liqueur that tastes excellent when served at room temperature without ice.
